Etiquette for Modern Life

That’s a bit prescriptive.

I don’t think I can get behind this at all.

You quite clearly do.

Just because I won’t support your insistence that we have two threads a day about rules?

I’d have fewer if I had it my way

Just make everything about 20 dB quieter, except for gigs.

Should be considered 100 per cent acceptable to just say, ‘Quiet time!’ and leave for a specially designated quiet space at any time. Modern life is loud, constant and loud, and it’s fucking everyone up. No one needs to be rocking around with this much cortisol in their system. Quiet rooms for all, everywhere.

I think you’ve misunderstood my poor attempt at a joke with my quoting you.

Or maybe we just cover everything - everything - in cotton wool.

I think you should shut up!

I think telling people to “shut up” should be considered rude.

I don’t. Fuck you!!!

That’s more like it.

I mean, this would probably give the gammons a lot to whinge about, but we wouldn’t be able to hear them because of our fluffy cocoons, so I say fuck yeah

Food banned in cinemas

Staff have to go outside to eat their lunch. Agreed!

Not all food. Only hot food (it all smells), crunchy food (like nachos) or other noisy food (like individually wrapped sweets).

EDIT: Hang on. Your’s is the second post to mention eating in cinemas. Have I missed a reference here?

No, all food.
