I have to be honest always knew the global game that football was, respected it, watched casually in World Cups, Champions League tournaments etc, but never would call myself a fan per say. However, I feel at the ripe age of 41, I may have turned a new leaf with this tournament. Just waking up excited for matches (they are mid day here so glorious), been telling people at work about it.

Just found myself looking at Newcastle jersey’s online just now. Don’t know what’s happening but I’m embracing it. American football will always be #1 but I’m diving in folks.

Depending on how early you get up Sundays during nfl season are basically (on the East Coast)

Prem game at 9am
Prem game at 11am
NFL at 1pm onwards

It’s truly a wonderful thing

(sometimes there’s a 7am ET game too

I also cordially invite all football fans into the American Football threads in the fall. Yes, it’s a difficult sport to get into with rules/flags etc. but it really is a great game and I hope some of you may watch and get intrigued. Cheers.
