Yeah, State Bar is usually good. Tbh it’s been nearly 18 months since I’ve been in any central pub, not sure which ones have even survived the pandemic.

Malone’s (Irish bar up near Sauchiehall Street) is normally decent to watch football in too, plenty of screens.

Coopers is good for the football. It’s in the West End but a short walk from Kelvinbridge underground station.

As its nice, Glaagow beer works might be good as has outdoor screens.

Would also add The Admiral to this list for city centre football pubs, although you’ll likely need to book ahead.

I feel like they haven’t been anywhere near as bad at this sorta thing this year compared to usual. Swear in normal tournaments it’s every game they’ll cut to “updates from the England camp”, possibly because they have a journo based there usually and need to justify their fee.

Completely agree in general though.
