I’m quite calm at the moment, looking forward to it even, but we’ll see how the day progresses.
Any result other than a pantsing is a good one imo (pantsing imminent, then) as it feels a free hit to me. Germany are under way more pressure than us and while have hit form they still have flaws that we need to press especially in the middle of the park.
As you say though, their attacking line vs our backline is pretty terrifying, sorry neutrals but we’re going have to sit really deep and frustrate them to get anything out of tonight.

Normally the opening fixture is complete shite — the tournament hosts vs some complete no hoper dross. But this time we have Germany vs Scotland!
Fortunately we’ll need to batter the neutrals on Wednesday for all football fan’s entertainment
Aye, when it’s a toss up between Grant Hanley and Ryan fucking Porteous to play alongside Hendry then is going to be along night. I don’t know anything about the German attacking line but they will be better than Finland’s, and they could have scored a couple.more against us.
Up front we are light too but I’d put our midfield up against anyone (apart from England’ or France).
