I think UK was the only country to give a dodgy vocal performance, the verses in particular were bad. Reckon that’s the reason for the zero. Song itself was probably one of the better ones imo. And you can print that.

Did we lose any potential Eurovision classics from last year? What were you other favs? Was it as strong a group of songs as this year?

Quite a few! I think this year was stronger overall so we have covid to thank for that, but there was some great tunes. Iceland and Ukraine of course. The Roop’s song was better last year as was Victoria’s, Benny Cristo’s and Efendi’s. Little Big from Russia was a smash. We missed out on Germany being decent, and Diodato from Italy which is one of the most rousing ballads we’ve had for years (didn’t think much to it on first listen but it’s a huge grower)
