also, one more big thing - if you’re nervous before classes for a short bit, that’s totally normal. My first experience teaching was doing two hours in front of sixteen year olds, and I was very close to booking it right before. Remember being in a toilet in a cafe right before, thinking ‘I could run away and I would be fine, get a bargain bucket etc’.

Also, my experience of Spanish students is that they’re a lot more chill than British ones. You’re gonna be an object of interest, and they’re gonna think you’ve come straight from Hogwarts/Peaky Blinders and they’re gonna do their best to get you into trap Latino and Spanish football.

If you speak any Spanish, you’ll have to put up the huge charade of not being able to speak a lick of it.

Saw this ad and went because I love kew gardens and love their nighttime planty events, have only ever been to the Christmas ones (once alone, once with friends) and one on a freezing autumn evening (with family) so haven’t been to a summer one, was already planning the day where ill buy the daytime ticket and take photos, go for a meal when the gardens shut and come back for the night event but then the next line about a romantic evening ruined it would feel v self conscious if its styled to be a couples thing and I’m there alone 🥲 will still go i think, a day to night solo kew trip is lovely, look at it from Christmas last year

Yeah just hoping a can donate a chunk in one donation. First world problems I know, but my bank will flag me with any monthly donations outside of US due to identity theft/alerts I now have set up. Just would prefer not to deal with that.
