also, one more big thing - if you’re nervous before classes for a short bit, that’s totally normal. My first experience teaching was doing two hours in front of sixteen year olds, and I was very close to booking it right before. Remember being in a toilet in a cafe right before, thinking ‘I could run away and I would be fine, get a bargain bucket etc’.
Also, my experience of Spanish students is that they’re a lot more chill than British ones. You’re gonna be an object of interest, and they’re gonna think you’ve come straight from Hogwarts/Peaky Blinders and they’re gonna do their best to get you into trap Latino and Spanish football.
If you speak any Spanish, you’ll have to put up the huge charade of not being able to speak a lick of it.
