On the train to Edinburgh. Going out for Indian food with some pals.
It does all sorts ; it fries, it’s deep, it sits on the fridge freezer really patiently for weeks on end, it has a key, just like doors and maps. Um, that’s about it, but that’s a lot.
So exotic. Did you do the scotch egg falafel or a delicious staple?
New ep of Disco
Never felt so ill from a cold, literally did nothing at work today
Man, could go for a bowl of that now. Where’s the crusty bread?
Stews/soups/broths are literally the best foods
I’ve snacked all day and now I’m not ready for dinner, even though I’ve got some nice soup waiting.
The flat that I’m due to move into now won’t be ready till next Saturday, and I have to move out of here on Monday so need to work something out for a week. Hopefully the parents will take me back!

Top stews:
In the supermarket. Could really do with some carbs tbh.
This is a Chinese one… Not sure where that factors into your list.
Had some profk frittata. Dropping my partner off for a night out then doing solo bedtime routine. Then picking her up again at midnight. No beer for me tonight
Not had too many Chinese stews tbh. Looks good tho
Thinking about scouse, I grew up on a variety of weird northern meals on account of my mum being Liverpudlian.
Corned beef hash was fucking awful. And we had it at least once a week. Also have never eaten bubble and squeak since I left home.
Beef shin, carrot, spring onion, white onion, tomato, soy sauce, chilli sauce, Chinese BBQ sauce and water, pressure cook for a about 35 minutes. Job done
Once sent Quorn an email calling for Quorned Beef Hash, no reply…yet.
Oh come on mate, even your most hardened northerner doesn’t pine for this even in their darkest moments. Fucking tinned corned beef and cheese, roasted.
Disgusting
I used to be given tinned corned beef with baked beans by my childminder. I used to mash the “beef” with my fork and smear it around the plate to give the impression that i’d eaten some of it
Grim.
Weirdly I don’t mind a corned beef and cheese sandwich.
