I just had to renew my passport and it now doesn’t say European Union on it :cry::cry:

Just entered the local chili cook off. Finished 2nd last year, absolutely robbed. Fucking guy cheated last year and put venison in his. Put up a stink to the commissioner. I’m out for revenge.

If you do need this i could sign it for you tomorrow evening?
May as well ask on the interview thing tomorrow afternoon. I don’t hold QTS so technically ‘unqualified’ but i am an EYFS Teacher with all the relevant quals + professional job title etc. Guessing that should be sufficient?

Fingers crossed you don’t need it x

As a rule, avoid anywhere in zone 1 (more or less the area within the Circle line on the London Underground). For the rest it is impossible to say, as London is a collection of villages and every part has its own little centre with pubs and restaurants.

You may want to indicate where in London you’re planning to visit, as convenient public transport might be more important to decide where to stay.

“where are my chili boots”

We stayed near the Dome last time we went, in a Novotel or similar was cheap but fine… .

That is round the corner from Madame Tussaud’s. You pay a premium to be close to a major tourist attraction and not a quite area at all.

Depends what you’re doing/where you’re going in London as you don’t want to end up staying 2 buses and 3 tubes from your hotel.

It was the Novotel Excel. Easy transport etc, not too bad a place, quiet but restaurants and that about.

Yeah, I would not recommend that area.

Groupon have good cheap London hotel deals i see sometimes? Never got one myself though so I’m not that helpful I’m afraid. :woman_shrugging:t4:

If you need to be in Marylebone, the nearest underground station is Baker Street. That is serviced by the Bakerloo, Metropolitan, Circle, Hammersmith & City and Jubilee lines. Any hotel near a station on one of these lines a bit further out would be much better.

For example, if there is no major event on at Wembley Stadium or Wembley Arena, you may be able to get a bargain in one of the hotels there, especially at the weekend. Wembley to Baker Street takes 7 mins by underground.

This is a good shout, a bit further out near a metropolitan line stop would be worth a check

It’s up to you but if you DM me the dates and your budget I’d be happy to have a look for you and suggest a couple of suitable hotels.

Can you ask your sister if you could stay with her?
When is this?
I’d offer you our spare room but it’s still absolutely full of crap and no bed (but we’re hoping to get it sorted by the end of the Summer)
And we live in Reading…
