Evening
Knackered but not working in the evening for once which is nice. Food delivery about to turn up, just doing a crossword and listening to a record while I wait and then gonna have fishcakes and something for dinner.
Thank god was about to alert the authorities as to no evening thread

The library i was working in today was hotter than a sauna. Feel sick from it now. Also forgot to get off the tram at the right stop and realised 3 stops later. Oops!
Found a cool church down a back street though
Absolutely shattered, reading a silly book about a haunted kids tv show or something, going to finish that then sleep

Have to write a bio before doing a DJ gig on Friday. Absolutely hate trying to big myself up, especially when DJ-ing is pretty low down on the list of creative things I’m good at.

I was having thoughts like this last week about autumn, not about the imagery in thst gif as there are blackberries beginning to appear on bushes. Blackberries are an autumn thing, much like Strictly. Love blackberries but not a fan of the summer finishing before it’s begun

Managed to dodge the rain on the cycle home. Some big black clouds around and the roads near home were very wet but I made it home dry 
Just had a quick shower and I’ve got a frozen pizza in the oven for tea. The one I ordered was out of stock, so it got subbed for one that was about 90 pence, so I’m intrigued to see what it’s like.

Had the day off for unpleasant and emotionally taxing reasons. Been sat around most of the day enjoying listening to the rain. Just made and eaten spicy pork loaded chips for tea. Really need an early night.

We went to Troon today to enjoy the last day of Scottish summertime.
I had fish and chips and then ice cream.
I’ve caught the sun a bit but also got shit-on by a seagull.

Been a good day:
- Cheekster 1 was well enough for her work experience and had a great day
- had a cheese scone and a cuppa in the sunshine
- prepped for a big meeting tomorrow
- decent gym session
- walked past the Liz Truss Memorial Hall on the way out

Fllowed by a cherry gelato
Sauntered around Castelbuono for a few hours which was completely dead (in a good way) and the pictures don’t do justice. An absolute dream.
Coffee and unexpected free cake
Beer on the balcony
Followed by tonight’s feast by the sea
Fried burrata and pistachio pesto (very nice), diavola pizza (incredible), pistachio and prawn pasta (incredible), Mazara red prawn with lemon and orange puree (okay I guess)
