I got home from work early as the fire alarm went off at 4:30 so I left early. Spent the last two hours in the garden cutting the grass, weeding and tidying up whilst listening to La Dispute. We’re about to get some fish and chips for tea. Great evening.

I grew up with my sister learning the flute from a very young age. She eventually became very good and got a music performance degree, but the tuneless screeching of those first few months still haunts me.
