Hey gang!

Just got back from a meeting with my film club, we have a screening on Wednesday so needed to prepare. Think we’ve got it all under control though, there’s nothing super fancy about the event or anything.

Gone a bit insane trying to get the screening rights for some Iranian films for another event. Have been on the phone to one organisation in Iran, two in France and one in Canada and so far no one has been able to help. GREAT, THANKS OBAMA

It’s almost ten here now so just sending out some final emails whilst eating some leftovers from late lunch/early dinner. Have bought chocolate pudding for dessert.

Tomorrow I am going to watch the Ab Fab film! And do a bunch of other stuff after that.

Yeah i saw loads of squirrels and collected some conkers so it made up for it. I am basically living the life of a child sometimes.

well it’s better to be fulfilled than to make a decent living. This is why I want to quit my job and just make silly music forever but it’s hard to go against the grain sometimes.

Are you planning on writing/directing or something? Or just curating stuff?

Yeah but you still need to pay the bills, have a place to live, and maybe even be able to have a little bit of a social life on top…

I’ve no ambitions to make films, so it’s all about curating and film culture for me. Festivals, writing, and so on. Presenting at a film seminar this weekend as well, which is the kind of thing I really like doing.

Last night was pretty good, apart from our singer’s voice. Ha. He got hammered the night before and couldn’t really sing. Good turnout for a Sunday though!
