I love the new song! Love the abrupt ending. It’s got drums too! Was really missing the drums when I heard in birdsong. I’ve ordered the orange vinyl!

Arc has my favourite song (The Peaks) but it’s hard to argue against Get To Heaven as their best to date. The passion, the anger, the dread and the defiance. It’s an album about culturally drowning and being fucking mad about it.

Yeah fully this - Undrowned for me is the EE pinnacle, but Get To Heaven is a masterpiece from start to finish, and No Reptiles is a close contender for their best song as well.

Undrowned is an amazing song. We always used to wish it was longer. It builds so quickly and brilliantly to its climax, but stays at the peak so fleetingly.

Consistently excellent over 4 albums, but I can’t see past how blown away I was by Man Alive and a performance of it at Union Chapel 10 years ago.
