I like that Clarkson does it every year as well. I congratulate them for their lack of self awareness. Dickheads

If anything Clarkson’s just make his life look really bland and depressing. Building a house in the Cotswolds are you? Great, yeah, fantastic.

Clarkson is completely self-aware about it, it’s become an annual bit. His name was trending in anticipation of it yesterday

He’s changed it then because it used to be “and now I present a successful car show” (pre punching someone in the face). I wonder if he has a new Amazon Prime show about him building a farm in the cotswolds that needs promoting, pure coincidence obviously.

CBA to dig them all up but I thought he just always boasted about something tacky and vacuous

Yeah, usually that he’s renting a villa in France or that he’s on a boat or some shit.

This thread dives a bit deeper

I only just discovered pupils have to pay £111-186 to appeal results. Fuck me…

Is that per grade?

per pupil, per subject

Iirc the reason given was to do with cohort size. E.g. Further maths has far fewer people taking it, and (I’d guess) more likely to be offered at private school. The smallness of cohort made it harder for the algorithm apparently.

Jesus.

pretty cool that even when exams don’t actually happen the govt ensures the class system continues to give private school kids an edge. pretty, pretty cool.

Reckon those northern wall brexit dads are veeeeery happy with themselves rn

Just the next stage of pulling up the ladder isn’t it.

It’s weird seeing some people on twitter act as if the algorithm used won’t have bias and prejudices built into it

The RAH! formula is pretty well established, I see.
