The Mumfords turning out to be such a weirdos was so unsurprising
The Michigan Daily disagrees!
there’s something very funny about the specificity of the line “your mum and dad will never die” tbf
Have always felt a bit of shame at the fact that I don’t hate this song in quite the same way that others do. At least, not to the same extent as the big millennial ‘overplayed worst song of all time’ contenders, like I Gotta Feeling, Rude, Happy etc. that make my skin crawl.
Sure the lyrics are incredibly trite, it’s contrived, manufactured, etc. but I kind of like how it soars. I can sit through it. Which I can’t say for some of those others.
Did anyone else attend a series of ‘Mumford and Sons’ weddings? Haybales and tweed etc. Feel like I went to about five.
unapologetic Edward Sharp enjoyer over here as well
Once I went to see them after the woman singer had left the band, and for the bit in Home (the hit) where there’d be a spoken word bit about how much the two of them love each other or smth he passed the microphone into the crowd and was like “somebody tell us their nice story” and a couple of people told soppy relationship stories, then one person (I think a bit pissed) got the mic and was like “so where’s the other singer? We really like her we’re upset she’s not here” and the guy is like oooooop and passing the mic to the next person quick as he can. Very awks, quite funny. Hope she didn’t like die or something.
Here’s a stomp clap hey band that I really like
Mostly a very annoying genre tho I agree, but I like some of it what can I say
I don’t think I’d ever go to another gig again out of fear of seeing this happen
Regarding my previous post on stomp clap hey, you do not under any circumstances gotta hand it to them
From Armenia, just drawn Aberdeen in the Conference League group stage
Yanks are weird about the cunt, they tend to treat him as some woodland fey creature
I went to one too many!!!
(I went to one).
Nope, she’s still with us. They were a couple and he kicked her out of the band because of her drug problem.
Getting nam style flashbacks to the time I let someone convince me to see Belle and Sebastian at a festival (was polite enough to wait two songs before telling them they were shite and I was off)
This is absolutely shameless and more of a parody than the literal parody song that was posted.
The talking part really might be the single worst thing committed to tape.
makes me feel a bit sick this song
Its all about perspective, I bet if you were actually a pirate you would love this kind of music
