Thanks for asking but it’s nothing worth mentioning, I just needed a vent  Thanks for letting me vent!

Here’s a compliment for ya, I really like all your things. As in your furniture things, (and your jumper and your bag) I think you and your wife have excellent taste.

Similarly I often sneak an extra fish finger under my pile of chips in the canteen and claim for 2 instead of 3.

Before the Euro came along German one mark coins were the same size as the old 5 pence. So I’d save up my five pees before going there and buy stuff from vending machines.

I’m on form at the moment. AphexZINGkletoes, they should call me.

My work motivation is very low, but I know I’m leaving in six months, so the quality of my work is already starting to dip quite a bit.

You are most welcome, it’s truuueeee. I’m still renting at the moment but the moment I’m not I’m going to be all over the furniture thread. At the moment our flat is a mishmash of random things  I am not keen.

I got hauled into the managing partner’s office two weeks after handing in my notice at my old job, because they’d run a report and found I’d logged 17 minutes of billable work since handing in my notice.

Sounded a bit high to me, tbqfhumble.

I was a bit pissed on Saturday night and ate four bags of my three year old daughter’s ‘Salsa Snappy Crocs’ crisps.

have you seen my thread about chucking somebody else’s mug in the bin?

what did you say in response to that?

If I think of the actual work I’ve done here I should probably feel ashamed, I don’t though. In the end I lose out though, if I could’ve put at least a little effort in it probably wouldn’t be as bad.

Shrugged and said that I’d been arranging the handover of my case load, which obviously isn’t billable work, and now that’s done I’ve got nothing to do. Which is why I asked for early release from my notice period, like the last three (!) people to quit had been granted, and yet they were making me work mine up until the very last minute.

Sounds convincing, doesn’t it? I’d actually been reading pdfs of ebooks at my desk for a fortnight, which is why I don’t know where those 17 minutes came from.

Not sure if this is a confession.

Girl at work who I like a lot is off work. She said something on Facebook about things not being good. I sent her a message asking if everything was ok, and it’s not, her mum is dying :slightly_frowning_face:

So I said I’m here if she wants to talk or anything, but I’m worried I’ve come across as ‘guy trying to get into pants’ rather than the truth which is genuinely ‘nice person trying to be supportive’.
