fucked. really squeamish about (FOR) eye stuff.

have keratoconus. had surgery on my left eye last year. which consisted of having it scraped with a scalpel then loads of shit dropped in, then an apparently toxic amount of uv light shone in it. local anaesthetic. oof.

didn’t even improve my vision. just stopped it getting worse.

Apparently that’s not true. My friend had her eyeball lasered recently and I’m pretty sure she asked and they said no, it’s not the smell of burning eyeballs.

I wear contacts but very rarely as they make my eyes feel really dry and unable to focus on close up things (short sighted)

Just rebought some this morning, funnily enough and they seem to look more delicate or “soft”. Also bought sone hazel coloured prescription lenses to make my eyes a bit darker out of curiosity.

Problem is i resent spending loads of money on eyewear so i get 30 contacts for 12 quid and glasses for 6 quid from selectspecs.
