Haven’t been to any of the South Ken ones for a few years so I’m not best placed to comment… I’d always choose a gallery (National Gallery / Portrait Gallery or Tate Modern) over one of the museums anyway.

The Natural History Museum is a bit depressing at the moment tbh. It’s basically just wall to wall gift shops now.

The gift shop is the best bit of any museum!

Yeah, but I’m not kidding there’s about four of them on the ground floor of the NHM now, and not a lot else.

The V&A is the best gift shop of those three, and the Science Museum, which should be the best, isn’t.

Nowhere is “quiet” in central London.

EDIT:: IGNORE ME I’M AN IDIOT

genuinely got slightly anxious about this earlier

If you’ve ever been tempted to eat a packet of pancakes for lunch, don’t do it

This article is really making me want to buy more bows. Also I identify with this: “Another claims her daughter, 10, “spent ALL her Christmas and birthday money - over £100” on bows.”

Mate you need to bring back your dandy phase.

I still have the top hat…

I don’t understand what’s happening with my sleeping patterns these days. I was super tired and hungover in work last night, went to sleep around 1am, woke up at 2:45 am and didn’t get back to sleep until nearly 7. Then slept till 4pm. Which kind of destroys any ambition I might have had about possibly actually doing something today.

reading rooms in the Wellcome Collection are fairly quiet also the Wellcome Collection generally has interesting stuff on

Bruce forsythe is higher on the news than us. I recommend sluggerotoole.com, they have stuff coming in quicker than bbc

Ooh! Exciting :grinning: she’s absolutely lovely irl, really sweet and approachable!

I despair. My dad was asking me what my tweet was about and when I explained, he was like “why should we care about what’s going on over there” LIKE DAD FFS YOU’RE ALWAYS GOING ON ABOUT HOW THE RA BOMBED BUILDINGS REALLY CLOSE TO WHERE YOU WORKED IN LONDON IN THE 90S AND HOW YOU LIVED IN FEAR FOR YEARS THAT THEY’D BLOW YOU UP. DO YOU REALLY NEED ME TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION

Yeah, sometimes I think people in the mainland don’t care about NI, but most of the time I know it (thanks for all the money though). I do enjoy the cruel irony of the loyalists here being ignored by and large over the water.
