Just started the book, been giving We Care A Lot a spin on the way in.
Love the variety in Mike Patton’s vocals, from rat-a-tat-tat above to satire:
to full on actual, you know, singing:
Angel Dust was so diverse in sound and at the same time, entirely cohesive. What a band. What a swinging guy.
Been watching quite a lot there live performances on Youtube. All great musicians, Pattons a great front man. He always gives it 100%
Love the way they go full pelt from the first song with Collision.
Midlife crisis - my favourite FNM song first here
Another one from 97.
What do we reckon the chances of another FNM outing are?
Caught them twice a few years back (at £2.50 Black Sabbath day in Hyde Park and one of their Roundhouse shows) and enjoyed Sol Invictus very much. Thought it was admirable, given how many other projects he has going on, how seriously Mike Patton took his old band. Would deffo be excited to see them firing again
Dunno. Was v. glad to get to see them at £2.50 fiasco day, and they did not disappoint.
Blimey, it’s almost 10 years since they first got back together after 11 years away.
Anyway, a year ago, Mike said they were on a break now and that if something happens it happens but they aren’t trying to force anything, so idk, give it a few years and hope i guess.
Oooh.
They were so good on the Sol Invictus tour, would defo see them again
Ah, oh. But will mean more dates right?

Urgh reckon that means they’ll be a second stage Download headliner.
Holy fuck! They’ve resurrected Sun stroke festival? Fucking hell they were amazing back in the 90’s. Saw FNM heading at the first one and they were amazing
Decent that, JAMC seem well out of place though
Aren’t they going to sell these dates out in like five seconds?
Also nailed on for Download then. Second stage headline maybe
yes
Could really do without the stress of trying to get a ticket but will 100% put myself through it anyway. O2 Presale starts on Weds.
