Fine not so much a fantasy browse but, Paul Scholes house is on Right Move. More a fantasy of demolishing it and building something better.

Also watching that stupid Selling Sunset documentary, isn’t even a documentary scripted reality show has properly numbed me to big houses.

Whenever I need a new household purchase I like to go on the John Lewis website and sort by price from high to low. I currently need a new food processor, so here’s our starting point:

A mere £449!

For guitars and stuff I tend to look at high end Jazzmasters then sigh because I can’t justify spending >£1.5k on a guitar. £800 is the sweet spot for me, I think, because that’s what my two favourite instruments cost and I wouldn’t change anything about them. Unfortunately the Fender JMs at that price point are all weird (no trem, no rhythm circuit).

For holidays I sometimes look at shit like this:

I could afford a long weekend stay there but I’m far too Scottish to even consider spending that.

For houses I mostly look at what I could afford to buy in Scotland near my family for what my two bed semi in Cambridge costs, and then I cry.

An interviewer asked Zidane how it feels to own Kirkham’s gaudiest house. Without hesitation he replied ‘I wouldn’t know. You’ll have to ask Paul Scholes’

I refuse to believe it’s ever that sunny in Derbyshire. This must be Australia somewhere

Bakewell would be a lovely place to live if it wasn’t so completely rammed full of Conservatives.

you could say that about any upmarket suburb in the western world

I look at horses for sale online almost every day, knowing full well that I am in no position, financial or otherwise, to be buying a horse.

I don;t think it’s good for your morale to look at things you can’t afford and think “what if”

unless you’re doing it for the pure ridiculousness of the object

Do you even have that many left?

Need a car but can’t afford one so obviously I like looking at expensive new ones. Same with houses. Also northern soul singles that are like £500+ each.

yeah, I do this for my flat in Stockholm compared to what I could afford in the sticks

this was a recent price equivalent

Only an hour and a half to Stockholm on the train as well and the property was 100m from the train station

the tv vetoed the move
