Fashion trends

Like, the ones that you look back on and think “I beg your pardon? Why did we all think that was a good look?”
This has most likely been done several times before, but still.
Ponchos. Why were ponchos ever a thing? I had four. My Gran knitted me one and I wore it to my year six leavers disco and looked absolutely stunning.
Plastic jewellery. Why? Why so many beads? Tbf Nikki Graham of Big Brother fame looked gorg in them but what a bizarre phenomenon.

I feel like the big painted eyebrows trend of the last decade will be the 80s hair of the future

The fashion trends of now I love include men wearing nail varnish and all the 90s throwbacks of fishnet and chokers.

It’s all Ellesse and Fila and that again now isn’t it, reminds me of school.

YES! That’s so spot on.
And yet a few years ago, tiny little sperm shaped eyebrows were what everyone wanted. Mine have barely recovered from the incessant plucking.

 yeah! I wear them now. Love a bit of hideous sportswear. My bog green Fred Perry jacket quite often gets a wearing. Foul! Gorgeous!

Wearing little jewelled sarongs over trousers/jeans was really big when I was at uni. Can’t find a picture but it wasn’t a good look. I loved it though.

Aw man, I do that though. And the lack of socks. My trainers fucking stink.

Gotta get those ankles out though, for the lads.

I’m guilty of it with a pair or two but always with boots anyway so as to counterbalance the whole thing

Also the Toni & Guy glamour mulletts

Don’t know if it counts as fashion but loads of young people have those big round holder things on the back of their mobile phones and I’m not sure why.

For grip when taking selfies

mullets are fully back now too aren’t they, in irony form

Ah that makes sense.

That trend in the mid 90s for satin trousers. Usually teamed with a button up shirt, also possibly in satin.

Got replaced by the All Saints cargo pants iirc.
