Just missed the GusGusBus: Amiina, Emilíana Torrini, Högni, Samaris, Sóley, Vök.
Also, Ásgeir Trausti might be the most ‘mainstream’ in terms of actual Icelandic sales but he’s really damn good and I have a copy of his debut all the way from Iceland along with the John Grant-aided English Language version.
And Daði Freyr gets a mention because Think About Things is the best Eurovision song in just about ever and I really can’t wait for an album from him.
