i remember being pretty excited that the guitarist from Adebisi and the singer from The Cast of Cheers were teaming up for a side project. then they broke up their other bands for it and it turned to be completely shit. so disappointing

a couple of the tracks they released on youtube early on were decent actually but went sharply downhill once they got into a studio.

Sorry guys. It can be confusing for us sometimes in Blighty to get things right. I’m aware you can be catholic and loyalist and Protestant and republican and just because you are Protestant that doesn’t automatically make you against a united ireland. What I was trying to articulate but not too well have any bands from the island of Ireland gone onto success from having members from both sides of the divide?

Yeah I mean I would say there’s plenty of bands with a mixture of people who are broadly nationalist and broadly unionist in the band, it’s something that doesn’t come up a great deal amongst most young people nowadays (though it’s a bit different if one of your bandmates is a full on DUP voter or something)

Van Morrison insists on his band turning up to rehearsals at bang on 8.30am, although Van himself often doesn’t turn up until ten, and then goes straight to the toilet with a copy of Exchange & Mart to have a dump. One day, the band got so cross that they waited until Van was engaged and then, one by one, tip-toed over to Van’s Sacred Harmonica Bag, full of harmonicas Van has collected from around the world, picked a specimen, and rubbed it in their anal clefts. Even now, when you see Van on Later, his band seemed particularly delighted when he does a harmonica solo.
