Confidence Man is flying up the ranks with mine after a couple more listens. Actually prefer the second half as it just descends into a sprawling dance frenzy. There’s a real Screamadelica era Primal Scream feel to ‘Out The Window’ too, which I’m liking. But the whole thing is loadsa fun
Woah woah woah!
I will FIGHT YOU!
Momma Mia! Easy muchacho.
Anthroprophh - Omegaville
The Final Age - The Final Age
Minami Deutsch - With Dim Light (although mainly because I like the songs live)
I downloaded NTS 4. Lovely stuff. That hour long drone track, especially when listened to on a late night train journey, is great.
I decided to push the boat out and get NTS 3. It is nothing short of incredible. It’s been in repeat virtually all week. tt1pd is an absolute monster of a tune.
Brillo! Delighted you like it I have entire days now where, if I’m not sure what to listen to whilst working, I put the entire 4 sessions on and know that’s my entire day’s listening set. I don’t think I found Elseq quite as compelling as these tracks.

I have fallen heavily for the Khruangbin album
I think it’s because you’ve accidentally put a comma instead of a full stop after the 19
Thanks to all those recommending The Family Crest album (War - Act I). It’s startling how little press/online attention this is getting…at least the boards are paying attention. This is filling the hole that The Decemberists have vacated for the last 10 years-or-so
Even when I’m not listening to the Autechre NTS sessions, I’m thinking about them. Just incredible. Only gone in on NTS 1 and 4 so far because I want to listen to each a few times so that it actually stays with me. 4 is gorgeous. Texture is something I really appreciate in music, so I knew I would be a sucker for that drone track but still holy fuck how is it so good?! I put that on my stereo tonight and just played it as loud as I dared to and it was fantastic. Ambient like that, especially at the end of an album can feel cheap and tacked on, but Autechre made it feel purposeful and transcendental.
I haven’t given NTS 1 quite as much attention yet but on my first listen I was surprised by how clubby/dancey some of it was. The second hour seemed especially good.
Iceage is the one for me so far, it’s ticking all the boxes
thanks for mentioning it. Agreed on the lack of press and The Decemberists.
