- Catherine of Aragon
- Anne Boleyn
- Jane Seymour
- Anne of Cleeves
- Catherine Howard
- Catherine Parr
not much of a catch imo
Preferred his earlier wives
I fucking knew, and in a way I’ve always known, that I’d have the same favourite Henry VIII wife as shrewbie.
our year 8 history teacher was the head of re as well and she was proper batshit severe moralist catholic and she hated anne boleyn and would call her a slut so I’ve always liked anne boleyn
Absolutely howling over this.
Oh wait I thought you meant his favourite. Fucked it.
We were taught very little about the wives themselves in school, only the ways in which they died. I remember as a kid feeling sorry for Catherine Parr having the most forgettable name, so have voted for her here to make up for that.
I like Catherine of Aragon best cos she’s Spanish
Divorced, beheaded, denied it, divorced, beheaded, supplied it!
@profk can we have a ruling please - is Aragon/ are Aragones people Spanish?
Idk tbf, but I know Spain wasn’t really a thing in the 16th century
(Cathy arrows is alight though imo, she’s hard as nails)
The Anne Boleyn alley
Don’t get your Hampton caught!
I’ve seen the first series of that Tudors series and that gave me all the i formation I needed.
Catherine of Aragorn
