I’m being srs for once rich

A38(M) is pretty good actually. 7 lanes wide with no central reservation.

Hi srs, I’m dad!

I’m sorry

driving was necessary when i still lived at home, got used to driving into town and driving to work and stuff every day but unfamiliar roads or long journeys always stressed me out. rubbish at knowing what lane i’m supposed to be in if i haven’t driven that road before.

live in a city now and just walk everywhere or get a bus. but when i go back to visit my parents i have to get them to pick me up from the bus station like a child.

M62. Nothing else compares.

The M6 is the best

Likewise, the M6 is the worst

Yeah, great if you like roadworks

A9 too

One of them’s got a bit where you’re suddenly by a massive power station. That ones ok. Don’t know which it is though.

Objectively the best motorway is the m2 by Ballymena. You can see it here

Great if you like Tebay.

North of Preston it is the nearest to tarmacked nirvana mankind can ever know.

South of Preston… well I don’t even want to think about it.

Don’t drive so M25 for its symbolic and cultural value, and because it goes nowhere.

M62 at Ferrybridge. Very poor service station.

M62/A1(M) junction is next to Ferrybridge isn’t it?

Good junction that - big flyovers

Yep, agreed with all of this. Unfortunately, I had family that lived off of the M65, so that bit of the M6 is really all I know. Have driven up through to Glasgow and Edinburgh a few times and yeah it’s lovely

It’s weird, we’re in Lancaster so head north it’s quiet, fast, great views, head south and it’s endless roadworks and multiple delays.

Wheyyy Lancaster crew represent!

(I am in the process of moving there)

Congratulations! It is literally a perfectly ok place to live. Best Lancaster fact, Pizza Margherita is 1) maker of exceptionally nice pizzas, and 2) started by the sister of the founder of Pizza Express.
