Not watched any of these but I was expecting the reveal at the end to be another member of the original cast. Wayne Knight alive somehow?
Somehow Nedry returned
The kid who played the grandson in the original is still acting (he was in The Social Network anyway I know that), may as well get him back
I wonder if this will buck the trend for each successive film in the franchise being worse than the one before.
I know I should probably lighten up a bit but the way these franchise entries need to keep constantly pandering with visual/dialogue call-backs, it canât play itself out fast enough. Please stop, just make a good film that stands on its own
Wonder how much money they chucked at Goldblum
man, i was sceptical about this but now I cannot fucking wait ha
not sure thereâs ever been a film more in line with my interests. will be gutted if it doesnât get made
They must have been reading this thread
You can watch Drive My Car on BFI Player by the way
Soderberghâs first HBO Max film (which came out in December 2020) never made it out here as far as I can tell, his second HBO Max film (No Sudden Move) came out on Sky about four months after the US, and his latest one (Kimi) is out on Sky on the 19th, a week after the US. Presumably his next one will come out here first?!
My Letterboxd was flooded this week with seemingly unanimous âgood but not great, amazing to have a film under 90 mins 3.5/5â reviews.
bit worried Peele is going to âdo a Shyamalanâ
Us was already pure Shyamalan imo. This trailer looks great to me but has definitely has massive Signs vibes (not a bad thing).
yeah i guess i mean overall career wise - i thought Us was terrible so thereâs a lot riding on this one!
