Might go and see either Glass or Can You Ever Forgive Me? tomorrow. Either of them worth the money?

Unbreakable is possibly my favourite superhero film, but I have nagging doubts that Glass is going to be shit :unamused:

Got tickets for Alita: Battle Angel in 3D at The IMAX - I imagine it will most probably induce a migraine :+1:

The endless adverts for Alita have ensured I’ll never watch it.

Most excited about Cold Pursuit aka Hard Powder aka the Liam Neeson Mr Plow movie, obviously

Burning on Saturday
Beale St. Next week
Maybe some other stuff

The eyes in the trailer are utterly terrifying

There’s something about the way they’ve chosen to present her (tiny, big eyes etc) that just makes me really uncomfortable. Not for me.

yeah no way i’m looking at those eyes for two hours

Can You Ever Forgive Me? is great with a really brilliant central performance.

Glass is a fucking insane thing to exist and is worth seeing as an academic exercise or something but is not an entertaining film in and of itself.

I really enjoyed it (Richard E Grant aside)

I have extremely low hopes for it :+1:

I saw Glass yesterday, it is not great.

There’s really just too much going on with it. I really enjoyed the first third but then it just piles in ideas that it really doesn’t need. And a lot of the dialogue is terrible.

You should absolutely go and see it if you love Unbreakable.

Should I actually watch Green Book?

Looking forward to seeing Beale Street, Lego Movie 2, Kid Who Would Be King and Fighting With My Family.

Oh believe me Ant, I almost certainly will. I live to be disappointed…
