I am going to see it on Monday as I need to see how average it is after watching everyone on Twitter rage about it for months

Oh yeah, forgot - going to see this tomorrow morning with the kids. With a hangover no doubt as I’m out this evening. Might take a pillow and a blanky…

Might go cinema for the lego movie but will be seeking out the least child friendly showing time because I’m a joyless husk

This looks utterly bizarre

really liked the first one. absolutely no enthusiasm for this one.

I have no idea how it’s been made. Can’t imagine anyone who isn’t already familiar with Paige and her story going to see it and even as a casual wrestling fan, I’ll only go out of a weird curiosity about it all.

I imagine they got Dwayne Johnson as producer so they could get it made

why though? I’m sure it’ll be great

Yeah, he’s definitely the major factor I guess. Still though, he’s one of the world’s biggest movie stars who has spent years shedding the WWE stuff from his public persona, to have this as a passion project seems very odd.

Watched two films with Alex Lawther in them yesterday - that lad is something very very special

Also, Steve Merchant directing it! Its like a weird fever dream of a movie

Oscar trivia question time! Yes I’m bored…

If Glenn Close wins an Oscar and Amy Adams doesn’t later this month (as seems likely), Amy Adams will have the most Oscar acting nominations without winning of any living actor/actress. But which actor or actress will rank second to her on that list (they have five nominations without winning)?

dunno really. think it was a nice one off, don’t want to get all the same jokes again

(I’m sure it’ll be good just cba with it)

Annette Benning?

No, she has four nominations

Depp?

Might see Green Book tonight. Was pleased to discover the bloke Viggo Mortensen is playing went on to play Carmine in the Sopranos.

Joe Swash?

Only has three nominations

The late, great Sidney Poitier.
