He was slagging off Alli in the press conference again.
He’s a proper prick

Sure he will- the next spurs mgr will probably have a depleted squad, be given no money to spend, no CL football and yet will be expected to fill the stadium every week and get back into the top 4.

Cant see it being too attractive to any of the big names, nor the up and comers like hassenhutl or that Liberace bloke from leibzig.

I fear Southgate might be the next Palace boss.

Ex youth player, player and captain.
Ex England manager, we’ve appointed the last two.
Knows Parrish well and will be happy with not much of a budget.

He’s a poor club manager though, like Chris Coleman, another ex Palace player who I fear we’ll appoint.

Oh no!

Certainly won’t go as far as to say I feel sorry for you, but I do empathise somewhat. Mourinho’s tenure at United was easily the least I’ve ever enjoyed football. I remember being excited to have him back in the Prem after Madrid, yet as soon as he arrived at Chelsea it was clear the charismatic cheeky renegade was replaced by a dour old cunt, his tactics resolutely set in anti-football. As the manager for your team he’s a blackhole of positivity and enjoyment. At least it won’t last beyond November.

It’s probably no less attractive than it was when Poch left Southampton for Spurs though. Think the glamour/filthy lucre of the Prem means jobs like the Spurs one will always have takers.

Less than LvG?

Well, obviously Mourinho’s first year brought some joy, particularly with Zlatan and the Europa win. Guess it’s specifically the second half of his tenure I’m referring to… With LVG, the football was as stale as it’s ever been, but the man himself was entertaining, he was giving (mostly shite, but some promising) kids a go, and he had Liverpool’s number.

Definitely hated LvG’s tenure way more than Mourinho’s. Consider him the manager most responsible for our downturn post-Fergie tbh.

Excellent, Trump mode fully engaged.

Don’t think LVG was as responsible as the board. He was completely unsuited to United, played an opposing style of football than the players were used to, was tasked with recruiting new players when he was used to having a DoF pick them for him, and was going for a complete overhaul while clearly at the end of his career and only in it for a short term jolly. Had he been a young man he might have offered a way forward but it was an awful, awful fit for the club.

That said, with Jose his mood just rubbed off on me, like it seeped into my consciousness. I started to hate football as much as he clearly does and it genuinely made me miserable in my day to day life. I didn’t even know that was possible.

Fun man, shittest football I’ve ever seen, responsible for the worst transfers (in and out) in the club’s recent history - Still repairing the damage he was responsible for. Knobhead.

Nobody is as responsible as the board obviously. Doesn’t stop LvG producing the abject shit on the pitch though and deliberately so.

Love him to bits, the not being very good as Man United manager was a really nice bonus.
