Similar to the way statistically it makes more sense for the goalkeeper to stand in the middle rather than dive at a penalty, but almost none of them will do that. Nobody wants to be the guy who looks like they didnt do enough.

starting to think Brentford might have a chance of going up this season - top of the table with more points than Leeds had at this point last season, 21 unbeaten in the league, last three matches we’ve come from behind to win, Toney is well on track for over 30 goals and so many other players are playing really well at the moment.

wouldn’t rule out a late season bottling to slip into the playoffs and then the inevitable, but this is reminding me a lot of when we shat ourselves getting promoted from League One before going up automatically the next season…

still in 2nd, not on a great run right now but got some very winnable fixtures coming up, plus I reckon Swansea are due a bad run soon, were very fortunate to get away with a draw against us not so long ago.

would happily take a Brentford/Norwich top two in either order tbh
