There’s always been a hazelnut in a Ferrero Rocher? I thought that was a Topic chocolate bar thing.
I think I’ve only had ferrero rocher once and I was quite disappointed with it. Advertising has a lot to answer for

Yeah. There’s too much faff. Usually they’re in a shitty box. You open it, take the thing out. There’s a mini dolly attached to the gold wrapper that has a sticker on it. You unwrap all that shit for a below average chocolate that apparently has some hazelnut inside.
That’s my memory of one from maybe 20 years ago. I’m currently slightly/very drunk.
Iconic advert though. Anytime the news mentions an ambassador I think of Ferrero Rocher and particularly the jingle “rocher!”.

They should make it so one Ferrero Rocher in each tray has an uncracked hazelnut in the middle to add a sense of jeopardy and fun
Just pile a load of Happy Hippos on a silver platter for the ambassador’s reception if you don’t like whole hazelnuts.
