Not like i have a fucking enormous tax bill due by the end of Jan as well :skull:

Wrong thread for this but: The problem with The Fall is that they have so many albums with both great and terrible songs on them. It’s easy to make an argument for most of their albums being best which is then completely undone by a couple of bad songs.

Don’t pay it - the country will have collapsed into revolution by the start of April and HMRC staff will be more concerned about the mobs outside than your tax return.

I full intended to post this in the main thread

sorry DB

Get paid on the 20th so doesn’t make any difference around xmas which i’m grateful for
no mega long jan

I think Grotesque is far and away their most consistently brilliant.

Obvious answer, but Nation’s Saving Grace for me.

no idea when school pays me.

have to go and bang on some doors for money for private lessons/translation jobs before I leave on the 22nd. freelance work sucks for that.

28th I assume as we’ve not been told otherwise

No job, no payday :woman_shrugging:

I get paid tomorrow. Jan will be easy though as I wont be spending any money as of course I will be in the gym the whole time. I think this year it might happen if only to piss off all those regular gym goers lol

Not had anything confirmed, but word on the street is we get paid on the 24th. Which as ‘early Xmas paydays’ go, is pretty useless.

same (although i will probs be at home with my dog(!!!))

31st, which is nice

Friday!

Early Rebecca Black lyri…oh

Loved it when I was weekly paid. Seems so much less stressful than being monthly - never get to that point where you’re two weeks from pay day and have to think carefully about how much you can spend.
