yeah it’s a constant battle, competition is pretty fierce. i think i’ve slightly pissed off one client i did a lot of regular stuff with (by asking to be paid on time, natch) but have picked up another where the work is nice and easy. ups and downs, innit. i think i would lose the will to live if i didn’t spend a decent amount of my life on some kind of creative output and even though i’m fat, boring and married now i’m still making the effort so far.

need to find a job too. specifically told one agency i didn’t want any call centre jobs and sure enough within a day they’ve spammed my inbox with call centre vacancies. :woman_facepalming:

My work is in the creative field anyway so even in my regular job I’m using Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign all the time. And one old client who produces biographies and autobiographies of musicians sends me a job every month or so. The money from those goes into my vinyl purchasing fund.

Please do! I’m sure you’ve got a lovely* pot you can pop them in. Mine’s doing so well I’m quite staggered, genuinely thought I’d’ve killed it off by now. The green shoots are twice the length of the photo I posted on Friday :sunglasses:

… this may be a little controversial… but I grew bored of the Simpsons a long, long time ago :blush: Like, I’m not saying I don’t like it but if someone said I could never watch another episode of the simpsons ever again, I’d be fine with it.
