can barely read the name of the film

Yeah broadly agree.

And I bought loads of films on DVD in those years.

Gladiator was 2000 I think?

When did Almost Famous come out?

Easily googleable fact but I’m just going to guess it was 2000

EDIT : GET IN - Just call me Mr IMDB

Would like to take a moment to remind everyone that, as per the film club rules, we only accept nominations for people who are planning to join in for the film club edition in question (which absolutely everyone is welcome to do, of course!)

Sorry, I was just trying to raise the mood of “noughties films were all a bit rubs”

Good point, I’d love to join in but probably won’t. Ignore everything I say.

I’ve added a couple suggestions of my own even though I missed the deadline, because corruption is very trendy right now. I promise to do better in the future :innocent:

Any more voters?? @laelfy, @AcceptanceIII, @Witches, @Gnometorious???

Can’t believe DOUBLE NIC CAGE isn’t winning by a landslide

Japes described it as ‘meta’ so it lost my vote

enough had such a big lead in all of these states late into election night, only to see the leads miraculously disappear as the days went by. Perhaps these leads will return as our legal proceedings move forward! STOP THE FRAUD!

I’d love to see the polls be blinded until they close to stop rigging (which I am also guilty of)

it would be fairer, but the late panic swapping of votes is all part of the fun of film club
