Alright, we’re spending the evening with Ali Wong and Jim Halpert then! Excellent stuff.
I’m sending out the DM for the live chat in a minute. If you haven’t put your name in the poll for that, just notify me in here no later than 7:50pm, and I’ll add you to the chat.
Cant join in this evening, apols.
Can’t believe we FINALLY managed to watch an actual uplifting film!!!

My vote is sport film because I think we should watch Rudy.
SOON!
3.5/5, including bonus points for diversity.
it was fine. kinda run out of steam 2/3 of the way through though.
Yeah, post-Keanu it took a bit of a nosedive but that was inevitable plus we all know where these films are going to end up

Think 3.5 is a fair score. It did exactly what you want from a Rom Com without being spectacular. Was a little bit formulaic in that you could guess the whole film but to be honest all I want from a Rom Com is to entertain me for two hours, not looking for anything earth shattering.
the league table:
| Film | Score |
|—|—|—|
| Princess Mononoke | 4.30
| Blindspotting | 3.67 |
| Fruitvale Station | 3.55 |
| Mars Attacks! | 3.54 |
| West Side Story | 3.09 |
| Always Be My Maybe | 2.89 |
| Noah | 2.55 |
| The Devil’s Bride | 2.25 |
Thank you secretary japes!
Mars Attacks should be no 1 though
it was better than fruitvale station for sure
flip those two and i’d probably agree with the list
No references to Oakland though, that loses you points around here
feel like that’s what really let down the devil’s bride
