Orbital got used in a lot of films around that time (which is a bit mad in retrospect) but nothing will beat that opening scene of Hackers flying over New York or wherever it is.

Also going to pitch a tent for the first soundtrack to knock my block off. The hair metal heavy soundtrack to Transformers the Movie.

Holy cow, the transition into the bridge where the whole screen is flashing and everything goes gallopy-riff-and-solo-crazy is actually properly uncomfortable (and awesome, but uncomfortable)
