some films have no music, which is probably to allow for the viewer to provide their own?
same goes for films that have music sometimes but not all the way through.
angry silence, a chain reaction of anxiety, film/day ruined
it’s easily possible to take your shoes off in a film and not have it affect anybody else, and it’s just so great
is the film thread over
(but I have so many fun things to say)
ITT miserable singletons

My answer to each and every one of these is «IT DEPENDS».
Thanks for coming to my TED talk
how outraged are you that they show regular ads instead of just trailers at the cinema?

i call this the ‘Mourinho’
Sainsbury’s etc is jarring - local Indian or Kia ora ads are more than acceptable
how many cinemas have you been in that had ads for the local indian takeaway?!
Fine, but… why?
It’s an issue if you get distracted by the light from someone’s phone, yes. You’re only in their for two hours, leave it alone.
People checking their phones during a film at the cinema makes my blood boil and is one of the few times where a potential altercation is no barrier to me telling them off
Only an issue if you start snoring then.
I admit I fell asleep for a little bit during the recent Star Wars
It’s the most major distraction IMO, worse than talkers.
