Sainsbury’s etc is jarring - local Indian or Kia ora ads are more than acceptable

Fine, but… why?

It’s an issue if you get distracted by the light from someone’s phone, yes. You’re only in their for two hours, leave it alone.

People checking their phones during a film at the cinema makes my blood boil and is one of the few times where a potential altercation is no barrier to me telling them off

I admit I fell asleep for a little bit during the recent Star Wars

It’s the most major distraction IMO, worse than talkers.
