Boxing Helena. Imo untouchably, exquisitely…terrible? Terrible doesn’t cover it. Just the fucking pits. I watched it decades ago(?) and I can feel myself becoming furious as I write this.

A very powerful Holocaust documentary.
That makes it a hard watch in itself but if you add in the 10 Hour running time!
(There is a 4 part TV version but still.)
I don’t understand the assignment, is it “things so bad you wouldn’t watch them twice” or “things so disturbing you wouldn’t watch them twice”?
imo it’s a given that you won’t sit through a bad thing more than once, so i’m more interested in the non-bad things that you would never sit through twice, and why…
