My main goal is to watch every Best Foreign Language Film Oscar winner.
Might try and watch everything John Cassavetes directed because I enjoyed A Woman Under the Influence.
Only done 9 of those so far myself it seems
I would like to win an Oscar. Don’t want to set my sights too high, best supporting actor would be fine

yeah this is a good one, only ever seen two old films at the cinema and had a right time both. also need to ease my no rewatches rule
Yeah I didn’t have a set rule but I was never keen on a rewatch until lockdown. We did themed months so I saw a lot of classic action or horror films again cos my flatmate hadn’t seen them … and I loved it.
Turns out if a film is good you can probably justify seeing it once every 5 years, shocker
Well worth it but do an intermission, pretty essential
I’m aiming to get back into watching movies this year. Started with signing myself up to Letterboxd and buying a cheap all region dvd player so can finally watch my little collection I shipped over here 8 years ago. Eyeing up a new TV too.
Watching goals:
Stars Wars - in timeline order, including the TV series but not the anime stuff.
Catch up on the last 3 Wes Anderson movies.
Rewatch the Indiana Jones set.
Flip between watching an old film and then a new* one. *last five years
Go to the cinema! Haven’t been to a proper cinema since before COVID times. I did go to the local theatre in 2022 to watch Casablanca.
Miscalculation by me…as i’m already at 525! So maybe switch the target to 550 for the year.
