It’s quite good, but it didn’t really get anywhere in this country because the Prairie Home Companion radio show isn’t broadcasted over here.

The two guys in cowboy hats look like the optimistic leaders of a team building day at some horrendous theme park when everyone else there would rather be dead.

Two guys? Those are multiple Oscar nominated actors John C Reilly and Woody Harrelson!

TBF I just wish it was Tugay in a cowboy hat

And Marcus Tudgay

Here’s a weird one. The last minute recasting and reshoots exist, but the final film definitely doesn’t:

I thought that I watched half of it and literally nothing happened, but must have been the world’s most boring dream instead :man_shrugging:

I think Garden State existed at some point but now it doesn’t.

I think it does, because yesterday I read that Zach Braff’s current girlfriend was seven years old when it came out.

does this film exist?

doesn’t seem like it

Maybe a metaphor or something I dunno. Gardening leave?

Absolutely not (and I believe it has also not been posted in this thread before already as a result of how it doesn’t exist)

On a similar note of middle class, writerly rom-coms:

Increasingly beginning to think that most films made outside of the big franchises don’t really exist, Disney is literally crushing our concept of the very existence of non-blockbuster films.

Exists IMO

It has “Goat” as a character. Clearly a ruse

Also I’m used to the tagline being at least some attempt at a joke or a hook or a play on words. That’s just a shit plot summary, all time worst effort

okay, this exists, not sure about the rest
