Look at those eyes!
Acting
Fellini is quite over-rated but La Dolce Vita is superb
Would have been perfect in Glengarry Glen Ross
only seen 8 1/2 but really liked that
It was between that and 8 1/2 that I was going to try to tackle
I think that scene is the exact pinpoint moment in his career where he realised “Shit, I can just do this and get away with it” his eyes at this exact second are the point where his career changed forever
Guess what score I would give it out of ten???
Perfect. Could you* find the same thing for De Niro’s mugging face please?
*or anyone else, please lets not try to overburden ol’ tone
Another vote for Tree of Life. You can’t make me
(The Irishman is wonderful)
thought he was American Italian, but whatever
The Holiday.
Every year my wife says we should watch it. Every year i fight the good fight.
Just stick in M.Hulot’s holiday* and insist it IS the holiday.
*beware, it does get a little irritating
I shit you not, that was the other VHS the music teacher would put on.
He’s pissing about with a ladder and getting hassled by a bee, yeah?
think you were listening to mercury rev
Bladerunner
I didn’t enjoy 8 1/2 but I really don’t like films about film making, they’ve always underwhelmed me
Also, put Cache on by Haneke!
Literally wouldn’t if there were no other films left to watch in the world
Playtime is The One but everything he does is top giggles
I’m happy not to have seen any of the newest Star Wars films. Now there are way too many to count, plus TV series etc, so it is way too late to start. The prequels were shit, the main 3 were only good for nostalgia factor really.
