Endgame /part 2 getting pissed off with this now, the pacing in part 2 is awful. I literally finished all quests and exhausted everything to do in the college about 4 months ago, yet I’m still having to go through the monthly schedule, spend all my activity points, just completely going through the motions to get to the 4th or 5th ‘final’ battle. All my characters are as levelled as their gonna be, all resources possible are acquired, not gonna get anything extra now and that’s been the case for about 5 hours of game play. I must be on the last one now… Chapter 21 I think, just saved rhea and did a Tron level. Such a disappointing end, so odd

It’s like part 1 and part 2 are written by completely different teams.

Lorenz is that weird guy in 1st year halls who you somehow end up living with for 3 years and he’s alright really… You suppose. Never gonna see him again though.

Not fussed on the rest.

I was actually completely fine with the direction the game took untiil the final 3 battles. That string of events was nonsensical, rushed and boiled the themes to their most basic elements. Still think its a very good game but it went from being nailed on GOTY to a game ‘I enjoyed’

Also the Monestary shouldn’t have been a thing in part 2. You could tell the fatigue was widespread as well in the final few chapters by just looking at the activity %s. Rest was barely touched by the world up until about chapter 19. Then it spikes up to like 60% with battles and exploration plummeting to about 10 - 20% so its not just us

Sounds like my grinding to an absolute halt is fairly widespread.
Chapter 19 and not sure I can be bothered to carry on, despite being obsessed for the first ~25 hours.
Might just read a synopsis and swap it for 30 quid in eshop juice.

My playthrough stopped the clock at exactly 46 hours btw, in case you were counting. Probably gonna put it away until the dlc now.

Side note - it’s a pretty antisocial game innit? Had to play with headphones as there was no way I’d be allowed to big screen it for that long , and if you’re not concentrating on the dialogue you’re gonna miss a lot of… stuff.

Slagging it off is harsh. The first 35hrs were fucking amazing, the final 5 - 10 was disappointing but still a fundamentally good game.

If the standards weren’t so high at the start I dont think we’d be nearly so bummed out!

Deffo got my monies worth doe! And will deffo do a different house playthrough when there is a lull in releases and will deffo get DLC! But yeah you may be able to get it 2nd hand quite a bit cheaper by that tiem
