First album you listened to in 2023?

What was yours?

Gone for Hot Slick by PINS. Euphoric but with a cool punk heart.

:eyes: Did you see Faith from the band has a solo project on the way? https://instagram.com/thefauxfaux

I woke up this morning with an urge to listen to early 00s soothing indie rock so have Keep It Like A Secret by Built To Spill on and it’s lovely.

US psych rock band King Buffalo put their whole discography as name your price between Christmas and New Year, so having really enjoyed 2022’s Regenerator I decided to investigate all their other stuff and downloaded their back catalogue. So starting 2023 by listening to their 2016 debut full length Orion

Completely accidental Goth metal start to the year. Probably fitting.

Finally had the opportunity to stick an actual record on without my son around to play havoc with the dials and buttons, so gone with Conflats by Outlines.

I listened to the back half of Shunka Ryougen by Haru Nemuri, followed by the front half of Kaleido by Beverly Kills. So technically I haven’t listened to a full album yet.

Pull The Right Rope by Junior Brother, because I loved their one from 2022 so much. Turns out this is also great!

No albums just yet but I wanted my first song of 2023 to be my favourite of 2022, so:
