Fish and Chips: A Rolling Critique Thread

Cod and chips from the Codfather in Hastings. Great fish, crisp and tender and flaky throughout. Chips were outstanding, all crisp without a floppy one amongst them. Easy 9/10, to the point where I was wondering about ordering more when I was finished! Luckily, my tiny comrade didn’t finish his scampi (8/10), so I moved in to assist.

Could use tartar sauce etc to jazz it up a bit, but fundamentals are strong enough to rely on. I love the south coast
