I did have to break the fish up to fit it on

Didn’t your fish and chips stay still long enough to be photographed?

Fish and chips look ace but what’s going on with serving it in a colander?

The two things I miss and insist on having if I’m back in the motherland are proper Scottish Chinese food and a nice bag of fish’n’chips.

Our chippy’s FISH PLATTER. so much stuff I couldn’t fit the chips on and had them and the onion rings separately. This is all last night but I forgot to upload until now.

Whats included in the platter?

Whitebait, calamari, a couple of big junks of cod, scampi, tail on prawns. Best chippy meal ever 10/10

Bar the whitebait that sounds brilliant

Yeah that’s absolutely faultless. I bloody love whitebait. 10 on 10.

Whitebait is the devil in fish form

Edit: Unnecessarily mean

I can see why you wouldn’t like it, and it has to be cooked just right.

I CAN STILL READ THAT

:slightly_frowning_face:

I edited it didn’t I? I was only joking. You are neither the devil, nor in fish form. I’ve actually been making you up a little parcel this morning…

Seriously though, I once ate half a whitebait and it repeated on me for two days. Vile stuff.

Could murder some lightly battered calamari right now tbh

Love a bit of whitebait (has to be decent quality obvs, like all fish/seafood). Done well it’s like popcorn fish

Some of the best seafood I’ve had was in Venice, fritto misto, which is just the greatest hits - pretty much what Scagden had there but with a fancy name. Amazing stuff, wish more chippies down south did it

That looks absolutely banging mate. Where is this fish shop?

Kent, about ten miles outside Canterbury!
