So I really like this album and it’s also encouraged me to dig into all of her old stuff. Plenty of quality but EP1 is amazing.

Got a ticket for her gig tonight at the last minute. Jumped on the train to Zurich and it’s fuckking cancelled. Bah!

Hope she’s okay and I’ve found a decent looking Chinese restaurant but if rather be watching the show.

I can’t even believe this is only her second album. It feels like yesterday that I was listening to the newly released LP1.

Been so obsessed with MAGDALENE that it slowed me down picking this year’s Neptune Prize list.

Summary

I met someone who had had an altercation with him when they were teenagers, I think it was something like he asked her out, she said no, he exploded and called her names etc. I was never a big fan but I didn’t have him on my shitlist because I put it down to him being a kid at the time and not knowing better. Sad to see that that’s not the case.

She’s amazing. To go from a relationship where you’re very much in the public eye and being racially abused whenever you go online to another where everything she detailed here happened and have the strength to be able to come out of it, take action and talk about it is incredible.

I felt like some of Louis questions on here weren’t great /the most tactile?

Think Louis questions were fair enough his whole thing is not being the most tactile, well apearing to be, and it does probably get the most honest responses as it does here and as there is a court case you have to be careful. I just wish he’d gone down the line about numbers v artistry because that was really interesting.
