Hummus is utterly unremarkable isn’t it? Like rice or a beige cardigan. It’s fine and I’ll happily eat it, but I don’t understand anyone getting evangelical about it.

My bf proudly presented me with a bowl of home made houmous. He knows I don’t really like houmous. He made me eat the houmous. It was insanely dry.
Spend a load of money and time making an inferior version of something I can buy of the shelf?
