We actually didn’t. That is my fave restaurant in the world I think. Need an excuse to go back and do the flight!

is it a temperature thing? Like if you live in a hotter country you have more time to eat and enjoy food because it’s too hot to work but in a cold country you just work forever to warm up. Any cold countries have nice food?

Oh mate they had such a good mix of stuff, cider that legit tasted of champagne, stout, sparkling wine. Would recommend.

This is a very fair point

i actually thought this thread was about drinking wine on a flight, the dos and don’ts or something.

Had a sake that tasted of bakewell tart at The Man Behind The Curtain - absolute game-changer

I will go to my grave arguing that wine pairings are total folly.

Just get a bottle (or 6) of something fucking delicious. Job done.

I’m not a wine pairings person generally, but have done a couple when splashing out. If you’re having eight courses and wine with each, you’ll get through at least a bottle on your own, so plan accordingly.
