AFAIK it’s not true. I think various bandmembers have held these views though and the band have allowed themselves to be associated with them via unwisely playing gigs in support of them or something. (I haven’t bothered Googling, just off the top of my head.)
I have added Good Grief to the play list.
Hey, Johnny Park! is a bit MOR US Rock for me. Nice opening riffage but not a great song, I don’t think.
First album and its b-sides are excellent! Still gets a semi-regular airing in our house/car! The rest of their albums all have their moments too.
^ Good Grief is a tune!
Yeah, pretty much this. There was something posted on here a while ago about Taylor Hawkins might have read an anti-vaccination book about 20 years ago but I made up the rest of it.
There was that weird AIDS thing too, wasn’t there? Isn’t one of the (former?) members’ wife a believer in some crazy new-age thing about how anti-AIDS drugs are actually giving people AIDS? Again, I don’t want to bother Googling here.
A quick google search reveals that to be correct. He believes HIV does not lead to AIDS.
Fucking mendelist
Can anyone up this? Something about chemtrails or HAARP?
Matt Bellamy to thread
X-Static is still a personal favorite of mine.
Hey, Johnny Park! is a bit fucking good mate.
Nowhere near as good as
Didnt they play a gig to help support this belief
Really want someone to do a Wugazi using Foo Fighters samples. Here’s the tracklisting (I’d make it myself but it turns out that’s actually quite difficult and time-consuming):
Enter the Foo-Tang (36 Colors & Shapes) - Grohlface Killah
- Hey, Johnny Blaze! (intro)
- Can This Call Be So Simple
- Learn to Flyumph
- Alone + Uzi Target
- My Poor Brain Ain’t Nuthin’ To Fuck Wit
- Winnebago 500
- Oh, Woodrow (skit)
- Da Monkery of Wrenchboxin’
- Duel of the Beaconsfield Mic’ers
- Shimmying After Ya
- Crimineverlong
I really want to hear this
